Aluminum braid defrost heating wire/cable is a heating element used for defrosting, commonly found in refrigerators, freezers and other refrigeration equipment. Its main function is to melt the frost layer on the evaporator by heating to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The braid defrost wire heater is usually made of nickel-chromium alloy, which has good corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. The defrost heating wire surface is composed of silicone rubber or PVC insulation layer, and can be braided glass fiber layer or stainless steel/aluminum braided layer on the heating line, which mainly plays a protective role to prevent the surface from being cut during installation and use, and avoid short circuit.
When the refrigerator is running, due to the low temperature of the evaporator, the water vapor in the air will condense on the surface of the evaporator to form frost. To solve this problem, refrigerators are often equipped with defrosting systems. When the equipment detects that the frost layer is too thick, the aluminum braid defrost wire heaters are heated to melt the frost layer. After defrosting is completed, the heating line stops working and the equipment returns to normal cooling.
