The cold room defrost heater is a device commonly used in cold storage facilities, cold display cases, and refrigerators to prevent freezing. It is composed of many small heating tubes, which are usually installed on the walls, ceilings, or floors of the cold storage facility. During operation, the cold storage defrost heater emit heat, causing the temperature around them to rise, thus preventing the cold storage facility from freezing and frosting.
The cold storage/cold room defrost heater adopts the convection heating principle, i.e. heating by air convection within the pipe. Its advantage is that the temperature rise is fast, and the frost and ice in the cold storage can be eliminated quickly. Moreover, the cold storage defrost heater is not limited by temperature and can be installed anywhere in the cold storage. However, due to its larger size and complex structure, installation and maintenance are more complicated.
The cold storage/cold room defrost heater is used for the air cooler defrosting,picture shape of defrost heater tube is A-A type (double straight tube ),tube length custom is following your air-cooler size,our all cold storage/cold room defrost heater can be customized as required.
The cold storage/cold room defrost heater tube diameter can be made 6.5mm or 8.0mm,the tube with lead wire part will be sealed by rubber head.And the shape can also be made U shape and L shape.Power of defrost heater tube will be produced 300-400W per meter.
