Door heater for cold room is a single wire heating equipment, usually used in some small refrigerators or household refrigerators and other scenes. The Door frame heater is usually a thin copper wire that is heated by electricity to increase the temperature of the surrounding air, thereby eliminating frost in the refrigerator.
The door heater for cold room uses the principle of radiative heating, that is, through the electric hot wire to radiate heat around. Its advantages are small size, simple structure, easy to install and maintain. However, the scope of action of the door heater for cold room is small, can only be limited to a specific area of the refrigerator, the heating rate is slow, and the scope of application is relatively limited.
Product Function
The heating wire on the cold room door frame is not permanently powered. Joule's law, which states that current transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, provides the foundation for the defrost wire heater's operation. Electric heating is the process by which a current generates and transfers a specific amount of heat after passing through a conductor.
As a metal conductor, the defrost door heater wire itself will release heat when it is powered, melting the frozen door crack and keeping it from freezing to death. The door heater for cold room will automatically switch off the power supply after it has been energized for a certain amount of time. The door heater for cold room needs to be reenergized for heating once the temperature lowers since it will retain heat for a while.
