Fermentation Home Brewing Heater Belt

Brewing beer when the weather gets cold can pose some problems, depending on where you live. As the weather gets colder, we have to make sure that the temperature of the yeast fermenting the beer stays good. Ideally, we want to control the fermentation temperature as close as possible to the optimal temperature range for the yeast strains we use. Using a fermenter heating device, such as the home brewing heater belt or home brewing heater pad, makes it easier to pull out a consistent temperature in the fermenter even if the ambient temperature starts to drop.

Most strains of maltoyeast require a temperature range of around 18°C - 23°C, depending on the strain. Devices like the home brew heater belt and brewing heating mat provide enough heat to keep the fermenter warm, but not enough to overheat the fermenter and damage the yeast.

Brewing fermentation heater is the most economical way to keep your fermenter temperature down too low. Instead of heating the entire room, you directly heat the fermented beer or wine. Both devices consume very little energy and are suitable for fermentation barrels or glass bottles and mini bottles (although I strongly recommend caution with direct heating of cold glass).
