Product Configuration
The freezer drain line heater is an insulated wire that can be heated when energized. During installation, wrap the drain heater around the water pipe or plug it into the pipe. After power is applied, the drain heater can be heated to keep the water pipe smooth and avoid the water pipe freezing and cracking. The principle of heating is that the wire heats up, and the heat is transferred to the water pipe, making the water temperature in the water pipe rise, so as to avoid freezing.
Installation
1. Installation position: the drain heater should be installed on the water pipe that is easy to freeze, and should be at least 10cm from the ground.
2. Installation method: The drain line heater should be installed correctly according to the instructions. Generally, it needs to be wound around the water pipe, and both ends of the drain line heater should be connected to the power supply.
3. Use precautions: The drain line heater should pay attention to the following points when using:
(1) Avoid long-term power: the drain line heater should not be powered for a long time, and should be opened regularly according to actual needs.
(2) Do not add pressure: during the heating process, do not apply too much pressure, otherwise it will cause damage to the wire.
(3) Avoid damage: When installing the drain line heater, it should avoid being subjected to excessive tension and friction, otherwise it will cause the wire to break.
