Silicone heating pad, also known as silicone rubber heating pad, silicone rubber heating mat/film/belt/sheet, oil drum heater/belt/plate, etc., has different names. It is made up of two layers of glass fiber cloth and two silicone rubber sheets pressed together. Because the silicone rubber heating mat is a thin sheet product, it has good flexibility and can be in complete and tight contact with the heated object. It has flexibility, making it easier to closely adhere to the heating body, and its shape can be designed to heat according to requirements, so that heat can be transmitted to any desired location. The usual flat heating element is mainly composed of carbon, while the silicone heating pad is composed of nickel alloy resistance wire arranged in a certain pattern, so it can be used safely. Its surface heater can be made into various shapes according to requirements.

Silicone rubber heating mat is a soft, flexible thin film-shaped electric heating device. It is a sheet-like or thread-like metal heating element evenly distributed on a glass fiber cloth coated with high-temperature silicone rubber, which is formed by high-temperature molding. It is thin in body, usually 0.8-1.5MM thick, and light in weight, usually 1.3-1.9 kg per square meter. It heats up quickly and has a high temperature rise, with a large heating surface, even heating, weather resistance, corrosion resistance, environmental protection, flame retardance, convenient installation, long service life, and high insulation strength. It is widely used in many electric heating devices.

1. When using this type of electric heating device, please note that its continuous use working temperature should be less than 240°C and not exceed 300°C for a short time.

2. Silicone rubberheating pads can operate in a compressed state, where an auxiliary pressure plate is used to make them adhere to the heated surface. In this case, good heat conduction is achieved, and the power density can be up to 3W/cm2 in the working area when the surface temperature does not exceed 240℃.

3. In the case of adhesive installation, the allowable working temperature is less than 150℃.

4. If operating in an air-dry burnout condition, the power density should be limited by the material’s thermal resistance and should not exceed 1 W/cm². In non-continuous operation, the power density can reach up to 1.4 W/cm².

5. The operating voltage of the silicone heating pad is selected according to the principle of high voltage and low voltage for high power and low voltage for low power, with special requirements being exempted.
